Accessibility at Knight Health & Wealth
Effective date: October 4, 2025
Knight Health & Wealth (“we,” “us,” “our”), operated by Jan Knight, is committed to ensuring that our website and services are accessible to people with disabilities. We aim to meet or exceed the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA and follow applicable U.S. laws, including the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and, where relevant to digital experiences, Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act.
Measures We Take
- Use of semantic HTML, ARIA landmarks, labels, and roles for assistive technologies.
- Color contrast checks aligned with WCAG 2.2 AA; keyboard-focus visibility and logical tab order.
- Responsive design for various devices and zoom levels; avoidance of keyboard traps.
- Descriptive link text, headings, and alt text for informative images; decorative images marked appropriately.
- Captioning or transcripts for key multimedia where feasible; reduced-motion considerations.
- Regular reviews when we publish new content or features, and remediation of identified issues.
Compatibility & Assistive Technology
Our goal is compatibility with recent versions of major browsers (Chrome, Edge, Safari, Firefox) and assistive technologies (e.g., screen readers such as VoiceOver, NVDA, JAWS). Some third-party widgets (e.g., maps, scheduling, embedded videos) are outside our full control, but we strive to integrate accessible options and provide alternatives when possible.
Limitations & Known Issues
Despite our best efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible (for example, older PDFs or third-party embeds). We are continually improving and welcome your feedback to prioritize fixes.
Feedback & Assistance
If you encounter a barrier on our site or need content in an alternative format, please contact us:
- Phone: (954) 937-9550
- Email: jan@knighthealthandwealth.com
- Mail: 6278 N Federal Hwy #442, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33308
When you contact us, please describe the nature of the accessibility problem, the web address (URL), the assistive technology or browser you’re using, and your contact information. We will make reasonable efforts to address your request promptly.
Ongoing Efforts
Accessibility is a continuous process. We review templates and new components for WCAG alignment, train content contributors on accessible practices, and schedule periodic audits. If an issue cannot be fixed immediately, we will provide accessible alternatives upon request.
Third-Party Content
Our site may include content or functionality from third parties (e.g., insurance carriers, map providers, scheduling and form platforms). We cannot guarantee the accessibility of third-party content but will work with providers—or offer alternative access—where feasible.
Formal Complaints
If you are dissatisfied with our response to an accessibility request, please let us know. You may also consider contacting the U.S. Department of Justice or your state civil rights agency for guidance on digital accessibility rights under the ADA.
This statement is intended to reflect our good-faith efforts toward accessible digital experiences and may be updated from time to time.
